DISASTER MOULAGE

Thank you for stopping by the Special-EFX BodyArt website. I am Kevin Schurb, a retired Firefighter/EMT
with over 22 years in Emergency Services. My formal training is a degree in Fine Arts (Commercial Art).
During college I became a volunteer firefighter and took my first EMT class. Upon graduating, I decided to
continue a career in EMS. I worked 10 years full-time in EMS with 8 of those as a night shift supervisor. I
remained part-time with that service for another 6 years while I became a full-time firefighter. During those
years I became a CPR Instructor, a State of Louisiana certified EMT Instructor and an Automated External
Defibrillator Instructor. In 1991 I attended my first moulage class and have been doing disaster drills ever
since.

Also, during those Emergency Response years I continued my artwork doing freelance work for clients in
many different fields. I have several website designs to my credit and love the creative side of life.
